Silja advises clients particularly on legal matters related to intellectual property rights, marketing, and data protection, and has strong industry expertise in consumer business.

Silja has specialized expertise in areas such as the identification, enforcement and, commercialization of intellectual property. She has extensive experience with a wide variety of questions related to IP, such infringements, portfolio management, strategic planning and risk analysis, enforcement, brand protection, contracts and dispute resolution, and the regulatory issues related to marketing, consumer protection and e-commerce.

Silja also has extensive experience in data protection regulations and contracts. She has served as an outsourced Data Protection Officer for several companies and have advised clients on data protection compliance issues in various technology projects.

Silja acts as an EU Trademark Attorney and is a board member of the Finnish Fashion Law Association.
