HPP was pleased to act as Finnish legal counsel to Elementis plc, a FTSE 250-listed global specialty chemicals company, on the Finnish aspects of the sale of its Talc business to IMI Fabi S.p.A, a global talc manufacturer, for an enterprise value of USD 121M.
A&O Shearman Netherlands was lead sell-side counsel on the transaction. The HPP’s team’s role covered vendor due diligence and support on the Finnish aspects of the SPA and the team included lawyers from across the M&A, Corporate, Environmental and Mining teams.
