HPP advised Lumme Energia Oy and its sole shareholder Suur-Savon Sähkö Oy on a transaction in which Lumme Energia will merge with Oomi Oy. Upon completion, the arrangement will create Finland’s largest electricity retailer and energy services company, bringing together two significant industry players. Lumme Energia’s revenue was approximately EUR 314.6 million in 2024, while Oomi’s was EUR 373.9 million. Together, the companies serve over 800,000 customers in Finland.
The transaction remains subject to approval by the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority. The transaction encompasses Lumme Energia’s entire operations, and following completion, Lumme Energia will become a shareholder in Oomi.
