At HPP, responsibility is based on our values and corporate responsibility principles. As a law firm, we are committed to the Finnish Bar Association’s Proper Professional Conduct for Attorneys-at-Law, which has always been at the core of our business. We specialise in the essential, in assisting our clients in their legal matters in changing business environment and in solving their legal problems. Our values; trust, partnership and equality, are also fundamental to our day-to-day activities.
HPP Attorneys is a humane, expert organisation that genuinely wants to succeed with its customers. Equal treatment and mutual respect are a prerequisite for both trust and partnership. We respect each other and our business partners regardless of different backgrounds, personalities, and areas of strength.
We promote the goals of the UN Global Programme for Sustainable Development
HPP’s Corporate Responsibility Programme is based on our values and aligned with selected Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda. Sustainability in our business operations is grouped according to ESG framework (Environment, Social, Governance). We develop and improve corporate responsibility within our firm with the help of an annual operational plan.
sustainability in practise
We use as little energy as possible, and all energy we use is renewable. Advanced technology saves electricity and helps us to reduce our consumption. We recycle and acquire our consumables from sustainable suppliers, ensuring they are made from recycled materials wherever possible.
We see diversity as a strength. We are constantly creating new opportunities to improve our collective well-being. We support teamwork, competence development, good health and make sure our employees are heard. We want to be trusted by our employees, clients and business partners alike.
As a law firm, good corporate governance is essential to our business, part of our responsibility and our raison d’être. We work ethically, transparently and in support of a just society.
