In competition law matters, Maria advises widely on antitrust, merger control, state aid and compliance strategies. Maria also regularly advises clients on foreign direct investment (FDI) issues and represents clients in the related national notification proceedings. Maria has advised and assisted clients with competition authority investigations conducted by the European Commission and the national competition authority, including audits, on-site and continued inspections as well as post-investigation assessments. She also regularly assists clients with compliance matters, including compliance manuals and competition law training.
In intellectual property matters, Maria advises on the identification, acquisition, enforcement and commercialisation of intellectual property.
