Following the Helsinki City Council decision from June, the City of Helsinki and Projekti GH Oy, a company developing the Garden Helsinki project, have entered into a preliminary real estate transfer deed. The minimum purchase price under the preliminary deed is 25 million euros.
The project area, situated in Töölö, Helsinki, is subject to a detailed plan confirmed in 2021 which allows a total of 200.000 square meters of new construction. The project consists of i.a. the largest event arena in the Nordic countries, facilities for sports and exercise, hotel, restaurant and office spaces, an underground car park as well as apartments. In addition, the sale of the old hockey arena and renovation and modernization thereto following the sale are included in the project.
