Outi Iso-Markku specialises in environmental law, advising clients on complex and demanding permitting processes for a broad range of large industrial, energy and infrastructure projects. Outi specialises in environmental permitting, EIA, land use and planning issues and related administrative court proceedings. She also has extensive experience in environmental criminal law and legal issues related to the circular economy.
Previously, she worked in the Environmental Protection Department of the Ministry of the Environment, where she was responsible for drafting legislation on waste, products, and chemicals. Outi is also a member of the Environmental Law Expert Team of the Finnish Bar Association.
