Anna Roubier specialises in EU, competition and regulatory law. She has extensive experience in handling antitrust matters and merger control proceedings. She regularly represents clients in competition authority investigations in antitrust and merger control matters and advises companies in the related administrative proceedings, both at national level and in proceedings conducted by the European Commission. Anna also advises clients on state aid issues, including foreign (non-EU) subsidies, and represents clients in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) control proceedings before the national competent authority.
Among other positions, prior to joining HPP, Anna has previously worked in the Brussels office of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP and as a legal advisor at the European Chemicals Agency. Anna has also previously practiced at other two leading Finnish commercial law firms. She holds an LL.M. degree from the College d’Europe, Bruges (Belgium), and she is qualified as a Finnish attorney-at-law.
