Risto Sandvik serves as the Head of Technology Disputes at HPP and assists clients in international and domestic arbitration and litigation. His non-contentious practice spans technology contracts and compliance with emerging technology legislation. Prior to joining HPP, Risto worked at a leading Finnish telecommunications operator. In addition to being a lawyer, he holds a university degree in computer science.
Risto has a vast experience as counsel in contentious and non-contentious technology related matters and he is also experienced in assisting clients in cyber-crime related criminal proceedings and cyber incident response. Risto regularly serves as an arbitrator in technology related disputes and is a Finnish Bar Association accredited mediator.
Risto is an active member of the Finnish IT Law Association and the Finnish Bar Association’s Expert Group on Technology, Communications and Data Protection.
