Antti Rintakoski has been appointed as the Managing Partner of HPP Attorneys, effective January 1, 2025. Antti joined HPP in 2018 and has significant expertise in both domestic and cross-border transactions. Formerly, he led the finance team at HPP and has also gained experience working at a commercial Finnish bank and the European Investment Bank.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Antti states, “I’m very excited about this opportunity to lead our reputable law firm. Markku Mäkinen, the former Managing Partner, will transition to the role of Chairman of the Board while continuing his client work in mergers and acquisitions and infrastructure related matters. Markku expressed confidence in Antti’s capabilities, stating, “Antti Rintakoski’s experience and personal qualities provide an excellent basis on which to further develop HPP’s business and continued client- and solution-oriented growth strategy. I look forward to working together with Antti within my new role.”
We thank Kari Marttinen for his remarkable dedication and loyalty over more than 20 years as a member and Chairman of our Board. Kari will continue to lead HPP’s Tier 1 Environmental and Natural Resources Team, focusing on complex permit and complaint procedures for major industrial and infrastructure projects, as well as land use planning processes.
