HPP assisted Luhta-Kiinteistö Ltd. in the sale of two properties to Kesko Corporation. The properties are located in the Centre of Lahti, in the district of Paavola. Kesko plans on building a new hypermarket on the properties. The new store is estimated to open in 2026 and it will consist of 9.500 sqm.
The transaction is a part of the more comprehensive development project in the central city block that consists, in addition to the sold properties, of six properties and 37.000 floor area sqm. Luhta-Kiinteistöt plans on selling the outstanding properties in the block for which the valid city plan permits commercial, office and residential construction.
HPP acted as the legal advisor to the seller in the transaction.
